나무보다 오래된 상어
상어의 조상은 약 4억 5천만 년 전 바다에 처음 나타났어요. 우리가 아는 '나무'는 그보다 늦은 약 3억 8천만 년 전쯤 등장했어요. 상어는 공룡보다도 훨씬 오래된, 그야말로 살아 있는 화석 같은 동물이에요.
